PASTOR RON ZAPPIA is the founding and lead pastor of Highpoint Church (a multi-site church located outside of Chicago) starting in the year 2,000 and is the Bible teacher on the national radio program, Highpoint Ministries w/ Ron Zappia. Pastor Ron, and his wife Jody, came into a saving relationship with Jesus while on the brink of divorce in the first year of their marriage. God not only saved them, he changed them, restored their marriage, called them into full-time ministry and now uses them to reach thousands across the country for His glory.
JODY ZAPPIA is the wife of Pastor Ron Zappia. After a successful career in corporate America, she went on to lead in a variety of ministry contexts, including serving for years as a Women's Director. Jody brings wisdom, humor and a needed transparency into the conversation of marriage. To Jody, it's a miracle that God was able to restore her marriage, and now she leverages that to help others find rejuvenation and restoration in their marriage.
DR. ERWIN LUTZER become the Senior Pastor of the Moody Church in 1980, and served in that role for 36 years. He is an award-winning author of more than twenty books, a celebrated international conference speaker, and the featured speaker on three radio programs: The Moody Church Hour, Songs in the Night, and Running to Win. These programs are available on the Moody Broadcasting Network, the Bible Broadcasting Network, Trans World Radio and many Christian radio stations around the world. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in the Chicago area and have three married children and eight grandchildren.
ED STETZER, Ph.D., holds the Billy Graham Chair of Church, Mission, and Evangelism at Wheaton College and serves as Executive Director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches, trained pastors and church planters on six continents, holds two masters degrees and two doctorates, and has written dozens of articles and books.
Stetzer is a contributing editor for Christianity Today, a columnist for Outreach Magazine, and is frequently cited or interviewed in news outlets such as USAToday and CNN. He is the Executive Editor of The Gospel Project, a curriculum used by more than one million individuals each week. Stetzer is also Executive Editor of Facts & Trends Magazine, a Christian leadership magazine with a circulation of more than 70,000 readers.
PASTOR DAVE and ANN WILSON are nationally known speakers on marriage and family. Dave is an NFL Chaplain, Hall of Fame College Quarterback and co-founder of Kensington Community Church, outside of Detroit, that hosts more than 14,000 visitors every weekend. Ann is a frequent speaker at Kensington Church as well as marriage and family conferences around the country. Their desire is to infuse relationships with the Word and wisdom of God. GUEST ARTIST: Sara Masterson (and her husband Steve Smith) have been married for 9 years and are worship leaders in Naperville, IL. Steve is the Executive Pastor of Highpoint Church, oversees Highpoint Ministries w/ Ron Zappia and Hosts/Moderates The Knot Conference. Sara is a nationally touring solo artist whose latest record, "Make a Fire" was produced by David Leonard (All Sons and Daughters) and topped the iTunes Christian & Gospel charts. Sara and Steve's songs have been featured on CCLITV's top worship videos, Relevant Magazine, Christianity Today and featured on mainstream TV shows and commercials. WORSHIP LEADERS: Carlie and Calum Shaw, met while being on staff together at Highpoint Church. Calum, who moved from Glasgow, Scotland to study at Moody Theological Seminary in 2011, and Carlie from Rochester, NY who came as an intern in 2013, tied the knot on October 16th, 2015. Together they lead and care for the worship team, lead worship and write songs for Highpoint Church while enjoying their wee side hustle of roasting coffee at home.
